We offer free standard shipping on all U.S. orders via UPS Ground. For International orders, we offer $45 Flat Rate Shipping via UPS Worldwide Express. For more information please view our Shipping information here

Yes, all customs & duty charges are your responsibility and will be collected from you by the carrier upon delivery. Please refer to your local customs office for more details.

*If you refuse a shipment from scandalitaly.com, you are responsible for the original shipping charges as well as the import fees that may be incurred upon delivery back to us. These charges are not refunded to you.

All orders ship out within 1-2 business days of ordering, if your order is placed over the weekend or on a holiday it will not be processed until the following business day.

This is a USA based website - all prices are listed and processed in USD.

RETURNS

You have 21 calendar days from the day you receive your merchandise to make a return. If you would like to do so, please email info@scandalitaly.com with your Shopify Order Number. If the return is approved, we will instruct you to send the item(s) to our HeadQuarters. A full refund will be credited to the same form of payment used to make the purchase in approximately 5-10 business days. Processing time may vary between banks.

EXCHANGES
At this time we do not offer direct exchanges due to the high volume of orders. If you need a different size/color please place a new order and follow the return instructions for a refund/store credit on your original order (if applicable).

In the unlikely event that you have received an item that is damaged or incorrect, (our apologies in advance) please email us right away at info@scandalitaly.com with your order information and we will contact you with the next steps.

Promotional codes are entered during checkout. After you have added all the items you would like to your cart, please click the shopping cart icon and then click CHECKOUT to start the checkout process. You will then have the option to add your discount code or promo code to your order by typing the code in the discount code entry field on the right hand side of the screen. (Illustrated below)

*Please note, only one discount code can be redeemed per order.

You can track your order through UPS. Once your order has been shipped you will be notified via email with a UPS tracking number.

RETURNS

Merchandise is eligible for a full refund (less any shipping charges and duties paid) if returned to our returns department within 21 days of delivery date.

  • Merchandise must be returned within 21 days of delivery date.
  • Merchandise must be in its original condition, unworn, unwashed and free of any alterations.
  • Merchandise must have all original tags attached.
  • Any sale item(s) or item(s) purchased using a promotional code are eligible for store credit only.
  • Any merchandise marked final sale is not eligible for refunds, store credit, or exchange.
  • Gift card purchases are final sale, no exceptions.
  • If an item appears damaged upon delivery please contact us immediately.

All orders placed on our US based website are sent from our warehouse based in Los Angeles. We offer Free Shipping for all US orders and a flat rate of $45 on all International orders.

All orders ship out within 1-2 business days of ordering. Once your order has been placed, a confirmation email will immediately be sent to your nominated email address. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please email us at info@scandalitaly.com Deliveries are sent during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Please note that if your order is placed over the weekend or on a holiday it will not be processed until the following business day.

If you are located outside of the US, we offer flat rate shipping of $45. All international orders are sent with UPS Worldwide Express. Delivery times can vary between 5-7 business days depending on where you are located. You will receive shipping confirmation and tracking details via email once your order has been sent out.

Shipping internationally does mean that you may be required to pay customs and import taxes. All international customers are responsible for the customs rates within their own country. Scandal Italy is legally required to declare the full dollar value paid on international shipments and must include an invoice for customs should they require it.

For further information, we recommend contacting your local customs office.

Import duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are your responsibility and will be collected from you by the carrier upon delivery. Duties on goods vary widely depending on the product and the country it was manufactured in, but normally total 18-20% of the item price.

If you refuse a shipment from shop scandal.com, you are responsible for the original shipping charges as well as the import fees that may be incurred upon delivery back to us. These charges are not refunded to you.

All prices are listed in US Dollars, and charged to your credit card in US Dollars. The bank that has issued your credit card determines the exact exchange rate that you will be charged.

You cannot make changes to your order on the website once it has been placed. If you would like to make changes please email info@scandalitaly.com for assistance.

Unfortunately, due to some product content we are unable to ship all products available on our website to all countries.

To return an item, you must email info@scandalitaly.com with the reason for the return and we will send you a UPS return label within 1-3 business days. You must email us within 21 days of receiving your order.

In the unlikely circumstance that you have received an item you did not order, please email us at info@scandalitalycom with a photo of the item you received so we can resolve this for you!

You will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return any unwanted items. We will send you a return label via UPS. If the package does not reach us safely we will not be able to complete the refund.

Upon receipt of the returned items, they will be checked to make sure they meet the conditions above and once cleared, you will receive a refund or credit note for the purchase price (excluding original and/or return shipping cost) directly to the original method of payment used for purchase. If you paid with a gift card, you will be refunded to that same gift card and will be able to re-use the original unique code towards your next purchase.

We process refunds as soon as they are received, but please allow up to 5 business days for any returns to be processed. You will receive email notification of the status of your refund once finalized and you will be refunded through Shopify within 10 business days of clearing your return.

Due to our pieces being hand-dyed and hand manufactured, we recommend gently hand washing your Scandal pieces and hanging to dry, especially for the first wash! You will get the best results and longest lasting wear for your pieces if you do so. 

- For the best look and feel, make sure to steam your Scandal pieces - it makes a world of difference, especially for the silks!

- Be careful with the darker colored pieces, such as navy and black as the dye may bleed before the first wash. Do not hang darker color pieces next to white pieces and make sure you wash them before use. This is very rare, but it happens.
